This image was a color neg originally. I really don't have a solution to the dust and scratch problem with B/W
Most of my B/W negs are from the 70's through the 80's. I though they were in fairly pristine condition until
I scanned a few and every imperfection really shows. I haven't been film scanning for very long and need to
see if there are solutions to the problem. No doubt Nikon or someone will develop a scanner that will
have some sort digi ice that works with B/W. It does a decent good job with my older Kodachromes.
and again... it was mentioned earlier, your ability to get in so close without disturbing the scene is amazing... you must have a great nature, comfortable... do you ever stop and chat to your subjects? this guy... id love to know his story, where he's going, where he's been...
